Graduated 1995 from Tulsa Junior College with associates degree in nursing.

May 1995 to July 1996, I worked in the ICU at St. Francis Hospital.

July 1996 to March 2000, I worked in the ICU at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

October 1996 to mid 1998, I worked for Rapid Temps, and went to jobs in Miami, OK, Sargent, Nebraska, Lawton, OK, and Bristow, OK.  In 1998, I went on staff at the hospital in Bristow, and stayed for about a year.  During this time, I continued working in the ICU at TRMC.

In 1999, my youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia.  I worked part time at first, but then I went on a leave of absence.  After 6 months of chemo and a bone marrow transplant, he died.  I had to return to work two weeks later, and it wasn't long before I needed to lower my stress level, and move out of the critical care setting.

March 2000 to August 2004, I worked in the inpatient physical rehab unit at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, until they closed our rehab unit and merged us with Kaiser Rehab at Hillcrest Medical Center.

August 2004, I worked full time at Kaiser Rehab at Hillcrest Medical Center.  Sometimes, I filled in for the ICU in the Specialty Hospital.  I also worked part time at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital.

September 2005,  I went to Baton Rouge with some other medical professionals to help out after hurricane Katrina, and worked for a week in the ICU.  Here's my story.

January 2007, I was asked to come to Meadowbrook full time, to work as charge nurse.  I left Hillcrest, and moved into the day shift.

January 2008, I went to work at Cancer Treatments Centers of America, in the surgery dept.

April 2008, Loved surgery, but CTCA was not the right place for me.  I went back to Meadowbrook as a floor nurse.

September 2008, laid off from Meadowbrook

October 2008, hired on at Trinity hospice

November 2008, Trinity Hospice closed, I was laid off again

November 2008, Hired by Girling Healthcare to work as a field nurse with the Medicaid Advantage Program.

Nursing papers for me to download, when I need them at work.  Not intended for public download:
